About the client

Angels Bansko is the best-reviewed barbershop in Bansko. Every Google review is five stars. Its customers are a mix of locals and the visitors who fill the town every winter. The shop wanted a website as good as the haircut — and a way to fill the diary without stopping mid-cut to pick up the phone.

The challenge

A barbershop lives on its reviews and word of mouth. Its biggest headache is the phone. Every call answered means a haircut interrupted. Every call missed means a customer who books somewhere else. And tourists who don't speak Bulgarian rarely call at all.

The solution

We designed and built the website from scratch in Bulgarian and English. It is clean and full of photos, and shows the barbers, the services and the prices at a glance. We connected it to Moyat Chas, our online booking system for small businesses: a customer picks a barber, a service and a time, the appointment goes straight into the shop's diary, and a confirmation is sent automatically. The owners decide when online booking is on. Right now they take bookings by phone, and the system is ready the day they want it back.

We also made sure people can find the shop. Its Google listing shows the map, the opening hours and the reviews that do the selling. And the website is set up so it comes up when someone searches for a barber in Bansko, in either language.
